What Is The PIMM Strategy?
The PIMM strategy is my proprietary strategy based on indicators:
Parabolic SAR
Ichimoku Cloud
MACD
Moving averages
The first letter of each indicator makes up PIMM.
How Do I Find Stocks?
We have a select stocks that I am following. I am focusing on leveraged ETFs. These ETFs have 2x or 3x leverage of the underlying stocks. This allows me to catch upward momentum at a faster rate. It also means the downside is greater which is why I have rules on how to get our quicker.
How Long Have I Been Using PIMM?
I have been refining the PIMM Trading Strategy since 2020. I wanted a way to faster detect a downside like the COVID stock market crash. I refined the process again learning from the 2022 stock market bear.
What Has My Performance Been?
I put the PIMM strategy to the test in 2024. All my stock accounts had a positive gain. My two best performing accounts had a 36% gain. The NASDAQ had a 33% gain last year.
What Is My Goal For 2025?
My goal is to have another successful trading year. I also want to share my trading journey in hopes that I can help others along.
How Has 2025 Started?
So far, I have a $1,065 gain this year. That’s about a 1% gain from a $100,000 initial balance in my paper trading account.
